The City of Jacksonville Public Service Grant Council is excited to invite representatives of Jacksonville-based nonprofit and faith-based organizations to a crucial Public Service Grants Information Session. The City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services is “Out of Space" and they are urgently looking for foster homes for 60 dogs for six weeks by 4/24.

The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and the AHL’s Rochester Americans along with the City of Jacksonville have officially announced the opening of the 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs, presented by Dream Finders Homes.  The announcement came at a press conference held at the Community First Igloo in Jacksonville. 

Over the next 6 weeks, we are getting critical upgrades done on our shelter's air conditioning system. That's great news—we'll be able to keep our furry friends (and two-legged employees) even cooler this summer!
