JaxParks makes summer time the best time for youth with a bevy of camp experiences packed with sports, arts, adventure and friends. It's all about creating special memories that will make your summer the best.

Registration is required to attend and you must create or update your profile in the JaxParks registration system.

Summer Camp 2024

JaxParks Summer Camp (Day Enrichment) is offered in three (3) sessions and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Campers will explore a variety of activities including STEM themed enrichment, sports, arts and crafts, games and field trips. 

Ages: 6 - 12
Fee: $95 ($20 non-refundable)
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Extended Care Hours: Before Camp 7:00 am - 8:00 am and/or After Camp 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Extended Care Fee: $20 per session
Registration: Begins at noon on May 7th and will be available online at jaxparks.coj.net or contact the Summer Camp staff at (904) 255-7931.

Financial Assistance

DOWNLOAD THE VOUCHER LOTTERY FLYER

Financial assistance is available to qualifying families for summer camp (day enrichment). To register for financial assistance online visit: jaxparks.coj.net.  Vouchers are limited and will be awarded on a first come first served basis. The voucher lottery will be re-open May 13th through May 15th until 5pm. Award recipients will receive a notification email once the registration process is complete including the upload of the required documentation. Duval county residents only.

Soccer & Futsal Fun Summer Camp 2024

Kids will learn technical ball skills and implement their knowledge through soccer/futsal fundamentals such as passing and goal scoring. Small group activities and interactive games will help develop new friendships and build team spirit.

Ages: 6 - 14
Fee: $75 (per session)
Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Campers will participate based on age and skill level. Ten (10) and Under Tennis for ages 6 - 11 utilizes age-appropriate equipment and is played on a smaller sized court. Advanced Beginners for ages 12 - 14 emphasizes serving techniques and game play situations.

Teen Power 2024

Teen Power registration begins March 21st at noon. If it's the Teen Power's first time, they may only register for one session. Depending on the Teen Power's performance at the end of the session, they may register for the remaining sessions.

Why should I become a Teen Power at JaxParks Summer Camp?
As a Teen Power you'll have a fun filled day, the opportunity to build strong relationships with your peers and learn responsibility, time management, and how to be a team leader. It is also a tremendous way to gain community service hours.

How do I become a Teen Power?
Step 1:    Contact the site of your choice and schedule an interview.
Step 2:    Interview for the Teen Power position
Step 3:    Accepted (you will receive a letter of recommendation to register)
Step 3.1: Denied (student is not eligible this year)
Step 4:    Complete registration
Step 5:     Attend mandatory orientation

Interviews begin Monday, April 1st - Contact the site of interest

Orientation is Thursday, June 6th at the Balis Community Center located at 1513 LaSalle St., 32207 from 8am - 12pm.

Rec N' Roll 2024

Rec’N Roll Program for ages 6 - 17. This urban parks initiative provides free, structured and non-structured activities in 12 parks from 10:30 am—6:30 pm beginning Monday, June 10th through Friday, August 2nd. Young children should be accompanied by a teenager or guardian. No registration required.

This is a drop in program where children in the neighborhood can engage in games and other activities to keep them entertained. This is not a day camp.

Teen Nights 2024

Time: 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Registration: On-site with picture I.D.
No programs 7/5 and 7/6
No entry after 9pm

This program provides impact programming for teens in an effort to reduce crime and offer alternative solutions for youth during the evenings. They will enjoy a game truck, snacks, Lazer tag, dancing with DJ's, and lessons on finaincial literacy, and more.
