Dylan Reingold rejoined the Office of General Counsel in April 2024.  Mr. Reingold previously worked in the Land Use Division of the Office of General Counsel from 2005 to 2013.  Mr. Reingold left the Office of General Counsel to become the County Attorney for Indian River County, where he served in that role for a decade. He has argued cases before the First and Fourth District Courts of Appeal and testified before the Florida Legislature and in Congress. Mr. Reingold has also presented at various statewide conferences on such topics as the Bert J. Harris Act, Sunshine and Public Records Laws and Florida’s Customary Use Law. He is Board certified in City, County and Local Government law.
 
Mr. Reingold is an avid climber. His adventures include summitting Mt. Rainier, Kilimanjaro and Devil’s Tower a summit attempt on Lobuche East in Nepal, and climbing in Yosemite, Joshua Tree, Boulder Canyon, the Gunks, Cochise Stronghold and throughout the Southeastern United States.  He is a contributing author to Fifty Places to Rock Climb Before You Die and wrote of his adventure on Kilimanjaro in Scaling New Heights featured in the Vero Beach Magazine.
