Senior Games Opening Ceremony

The Jacksonville Senior Games is an Olympic-style event for men and women 50 years of age or older. The Senior Games promotes healthy and active lifestyles for First Coast seniors. 

The 2008 event was held from Monday, Sept. 22, to Sunday, Sept. 28. Top finishers advanced to the annual Florida Senior Games State Championships and potentially the National Senior Games.

Being healthy and active is not only Swimmingimportant for physical
well being, but for mental well being as well.  This is why the Jacksonville Senior Games offer
non-physical games and activities, as well as plenty of social events that allow our participants to renew friendships, create new ones and share experiences.
