Tropical Storm Fay
 The Department of Public Works transitioned from response mode to recovery mode at 10 a.m. Sunday and will begin debris pickup 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26. Citizens are encouraged to continue to report storm damage to property by calling 630-CITY beginning Monday, Aug. 25. The River Accord's 2nd Anniversary
 Mayor John Peyton, The River Accord partnering agencies, the University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, Sen. Jim King, Eric Hughes of the American Heritage Rivers Initiative (AHRI) and other community leaders celebrated The River Accord's second anniversary with the release of the State of the River report, recognition of the 10th anniversary of the AHRI designation and an update on projects benefitting the river's health.
