In May 2008, the City of Jacksonville mailed bills for two new fees that will fund residential solid waste collection and stormwater management.

CITY FEE THINGS TO KNOW:
- AVAILABLE NOW Online access to City Fee accounts.
- Late payment penalties began on July 1. The penalties are one percent per fee and will accrue each month until an account is paid in full.
- The deadline to receive applications for an adjustment, exemption or credit passed on July 1. Any applications received after that date will be considered for the 2009 billing cycle.
- The city received over 6,700 applications for a fee adjustment, exemption or credit! We are currently reviewing all the applications - customers should expect to receive responses throughout the months of August and September.
