Animal Care and Protective Services will be closed on Friday June 23, 2023

ACPS will be attending the Mega Adoption Event at the Avenues Mall on Southside Blvd. If you are interested in adopting come see us at 10300 Southside Blvd.

We will resume normal operation hours on Saturday, June 24th.

Black Friday Free Adoption Event November 24, 2023

Black Friday free adoptions are BACK! Beginning on Black Friday, November 24, adoption fees at both ACPS and The Jacksonville Humane Society will be waived. This free adoption special will last through Sunday, November 26. The community is invited to come out to both shelters to meet a wide variety of available pets!
